September 2021 - The Founding Idea Founders Luqman and Mariam identified the need for a machine to automate maize peeling and threshing. ArchML Technologies was born from this vision in September 2021. October - December 2021 - First Prototype Built We built our first Maize Peeling & Threshing Machine prototype starting October 2021. The machine was completed and ready by December 2021.
May 2022; Sugarcane Juice Extractor Development Begins We began development of our Sugarcane Juice Extractor in May 2022, expanding our product line. This marked ArchML's entry into a second agricultural processing solution. May 2022; usiness Name Registered ArchML Technologies was officially registered as a business name in May 2022. This formalized our legal presence and commercial operations in Tanzania.
2023 - Maize Machine Refined & Re-piloted We refined the Maize Peeling & Threshing Machine based on pilot feedback and customer requirements. The improved machine was returned to piloting for further real-world validation. 2023 - Sugarcane Extractor Goes to Market After further refinements, the Sugarcane Juice Extractor was launched for commercial sale in 2023. This marked ArchML's first product on the market and the start of revenue generation. May 2023 - Incorporated as Limited Company In May 2023, ArchML Technologies converted from a registered business name to a fully incorporated Limited Company. This strengthened our corporate credibility and set the foundation for growth. 2023 - Malt Nut Cracker Development Starts We began development of the Malt Nut Cracker in 2023, targeting macadamia nuts and palm seeds (mise). This added a third agricultural processing solution to the ArchML product portfolio.
2024 - Malt Nut Cracker Pilot - Arusha & Kigoma We piloted the Malt Nut Cracker in 2024, focusing on macadamia nuts and palm seeds across Arusha and Kigoma regions. Multi-region testing provided critical insights into machine performance under diverse conditions. 2024 - Maize Machine Deep Analysis We conducted a thorough analysis of all field data collected from the Maize Machine pilots in 2024. The findings provided evidence-based insights that directly shaped the second prototype design. 2024 - Maize Machine Prototype 2 Developed Using all lessons learned from the first prototype and field analysis, we engineered the second-generation Maize Peeling & Threshing Machine. The new design represents a major improvement in performance, efficiency, and reliability.
2025 - EAC Regional Expansion In 2025, our Sugarcane Juice Extractor reached customers across the East African Community region. We achieved confirmed sales in Nairobi, Kenya and Busia, Uganda - our first cross-border commercial success. 2025 - Dual-Power Sugarcane Extractor Launched Acting on customer feedback, we expanded our Sugarcane Juice Extractor lineup to two models: AC Direct and Rechargeable/Solar. The solar-capable model can switch between AC power and solar panels, making it accessible off-grid.
